On the Substantive Connotation and Cultivation Paths of Core Literacy of Students in Pre-school Education Major

Abstract
With the advent of the era of knowledge economy, a new round of pre-school education and teaching reform led by "core literacy" is officially on track, and "core literacy of pre-school education" has become a hot word in the entire professional academic field. At the same time, the concept of "core literacy" reflects a new era view of education, development, and society, and is the core requirement for building individual learning qualities and thinking methods and professional abilities of students. Based on the essence of core literacy, this article analyzes the status quo of core literacy of students in pre-school education majors. Facing the huge barrier of the traditional talent training model on the road to forming core literacy of students, combining the reality of pre-school education majors, it proposes that campus, curriculum, kindergarten, practical training, competitions and etc., carry out a series of practical activities and teaching paths that help to cultivate the core literacy of pre-school education students, and implement the concept of "core literacy".
