Abstract

The Belt and Road Initiative is a profound transformation of China's development pattern. The Belt and Road Initiative is a spatial reconstruction of China's production capacity. The Belt and Road Initiative is a reconstruction of China's influence structure. The Belt and Road Initiative is a reinterpretation of the meaning of "China". The expansion of the "China" concept will have two consequences. First, the imbalance in the spatial density of Chinese elements has been broken to achieve a further equilibrium of global spatial density. Second, the boundary between China and the world is no longer clear.
