Abstract

In Chinese pronunciation, the characteristics of vowels and their formants are often the first and key parameters in speaker identification. In this paper, Praat software is used to analyse the phoneme variant of vowel /a/, and morphological analysis and data statistics are carried out on studying the acoustic characteristics of the vowel /a/ in different speakers' pronunciation, such as the phonographic formant and energy, etc., to conclude the variation rule of the acoustic characteristics of the vowel /a/.
