Abstract

The purpose of College English teaching is to cultivate people with different cultural backgrounds to communicate with each other. Therefore, College English teaching must pay attention to the cultivation of pragmatic competence. This paper first summarizes the network information platform and English pragmatic competence, then explores the factors that affect English pragmatic competence and the importance of improving students' pragmatic competence, and finally explores the strategies of Cultivating College English Pragmatic Competence Based on the network information platform for reference.
