Abstract
In this paper, the grey process method is applied to evaluate the reliability of welding robot system so as to find the system composition with relatively weak quality, and further the corresponding solutions. With combination of FMEA and Grey Process, the structure of the welding robot is decomposed to find out the common failure modes of each part, and then the corresponding reliability model and evaluation system are established. Finally, the basic failure modes are analysed and evaluated in terms of the probability and the severity of the failure.
