Abstract
Neither teachers’ teaching nor students’ learning will be confined to the classroom as the Internet becomes pervasive. SPOC-based blended learning, as a new product of the Internet era, is the use of a SPOC platform to combine face-to-face classroom learning with online learning. This study focuses on examining if the use of SPOC-based flipped classroom could help EFL learners become more engaged in their classroom learning so as to meet student-centered learning and active learning requirements.
