Abstract

There are quite a few time fuzzy words and expressions in both Chinese and English, which are of great significance in the process of cross-cultural communication. This essay analyzes the semantic, pragmatic, quantitative and cultural differences of these time fuzzy words from the perspective of contrastive linguistics to help learners grasp them better and effectively avoid the conflict in cross-cultural communication.
