Abstract
From the research on the academic research methods in the field of Physical Education curriculum and teaching published in China in 2018, it is found that there is no significant change in Physical Education curriculum and teaching research methods in China, in which speculative research and empirical research each account for half, qualitative research accounts for a large proportion of empirical research, among which the literature method has the highest proportion, and the quantitative research has the highest proportion of descriptive statistics. In the past five years, there has been no significant change in the types of methods for collecting data, but there are significant differences in the types of methods for collecting data and data in different types of empirical research.
