Abstract

The wisdom of the ancient people left us contains not only the production technology of ceramic, but also the exquisite drawing of ceramic pattern. The history of ceramic development is an important part of our country. The invention, application and development of ceramic have its unique significance. Chinese ancient ceramics are mostly used in life, especially for decoration. The decorative pattern of ceramics has the characteristics of practicality and artistry, which shows the interesting beauty and decorative beauty of people's life. The decorative patterns of ceramics in different periods reflect different national characteristics and cultural connotations. Different artistic styles and technical characteristics reflect the maturity of ceramics. This paper studies the artistic characteristics of decorative pattern of ancient ceramic in China from the aspects of ceramic decoration, implication, and color, and discuss how to integrate decorative patterns of ceramics into creative design and combine traditional culture with modern design ideas.
