Abstract

China's economic development has made great achievements in recent 20 years, the economic growth rate and economic aggregate has created a miracle in the world, the demographic structure and socio-economic structure has also undergone fundamental changes. Currently China is in a critical period of deepening reform and transformation of social structure, the influence of aging population on economic society will be deep and comprehensive, which includes the challenge to economic growth, labor supply, social medical security system, inter-generational relations, but also provides the opportunity for social medical security system reform, developing aging industry, and the change of domestic consumption structure. Therefore, it is of great significance to make a systematic analysis of present situation, characteristics and trend of China's ageing population, and finding out the cause of the rapid development China's ageing population, the economic and social consequences of population aging and its mechanism of action, and taking corresponding measures to deal with has arrived and the deepening of the aging society, the population in our country, society, economy and the sustainable development of resources and environment.
