Abstract
With the increasingly fierce competition in the construction market, if construction companies want to occupy a place in the fierce market competition, it is necessary to effectively control costs and strengthen cost management while improving construction quality. This article aims to discuss the cost management level of construction projects in order to effectively reduce the cost of construction projects and achieve the purpose of scientific application costs. This article explains the principles and importance of construction project cost management, and conducts a questionnaire survey on the construction project cost management status of a construction enterprise project department. It is concluded that 78.22% of people think that the cost management level is low and there is no perfect management system; 89.11% of people think that various direct and indirect costs are not easy to control. In this regard, specific measures for project cost control are proposed to improve the cost management level of construction projects and provide a reference for effective control of construction costs.
