Abstract

As an important part of human cultural treasures, this paper comprehensively discusses the traditional Chinese arts and crafts elements of ceramics, bronzes, dyeing and weaving embroidery, lacquerwares, jades, gold and silver glass enamels and various sculpture crafts, as well as the performance characteristics of their own beauty and their artistic and cultural connotations. Through examples and analysis, this paper illustrates how to use traditional Chinese arts and crafts elements and works in modern interior design, and realizes their harmonious unity. It achieves the effects of tradition in modernization, classics in fashion, mutual fit, mutual contrast, mutual support, beauty, unique decoration and cultural art. Furthermore, it illustrates the great value and benefit of inheritance and development of traditional Chinese arts and crafts to modern interior design.
